What we collect

We collect information you provide when you register (email, display name) and any optional profile details you choose to add (bio, location, phone, avatar). When you create a listing, event, classified, job or recipe, the content you submit is stored alongside your account.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the platform, display your public listings, communicate with you about your account, and improve the service. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Who can see your data

• Your full profile (including phone, full name and membership details) is only visible to you and SAFFA HUB administrators.
• Public listings show your display name and the content you chose to publish. Contact details attached to businesses, classifieds and jobs are only visible to signed-in members.
• Administrative roles are managed server-side and cannot be granted by members themselves.

Storage and security

SAFFA HUB uses managed authentication and database services with row-level security. Traffic is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the platform is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

AI features and your data

SAFFA HUB offers AI-powered features ("SAFFA AI"), including assistants, page-context helpers, universal search and recommendations. When you use these features:

• Your prompts, messages and (where relevant) the page you are viewing may be sent to third-party AI model providers on our behalf so a response can be generated.
• AI conversations, quotas and usage events may be stored to operate the service, prevent abuse and improve reliability.
• If you enable AI memory or preferences, we store the durable facts and preferences you choose to save. You can view, edit or clear these at any time in My AI Preferences.
• We may create embeddings and search indexes over public content (and, for personalised features, limited signals about your activity) to power recommendations and search.
• Please do not enter sensitive personal information into AI chat — for example ID numbers, passwords, banking details or health information. SAFFA AI does not need this information and you should not rely on it as a secure channel for such data.

Data retention and deletion

You can edit your profile and remove your listings at any time from your account. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, please submit a request through the Contact & Support Centre and select the Privacy Request category. The SAFFA HUB team aims to respond within up to 48 hours.
