We're expanding our production into Queensland and are looking for a passionate, hard-working production hand to join us as we grow. About the Role This is a casual production role based at our new Queensland facility in Burleigh Heads. You'll be hands-on in the day-to-day preparation and production of our biltong range, helping ensure every batch meets the Silvaside standard of quality our customers know and trust. What You'll Be Doing Preparing and processing raw meat for biltong production in line with our recipes and specifications Operating and cleaning production equipment safely and efficiently Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout all stages of production Monitoring and rotating stock, flagging any quality or inventory concerns Keeping the production area clean, organised and compliant at all times Supporting the team to meet production targets and maintain output quality What We're Looking For Previous experience in a food production, meat processing, or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential - we'll train the right person) A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, or willingness to obtain certification Physical capability to perform hands-on work including standing for extended periods and handling product Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic A keen eye for quality and attention to detail Someone who takes pride in the product they produce What We Offer Casual position with flexible scheduling The opportunity to be part of a growing, family-owned Australian brand with genuine South African heritage A supportive and close-knit team environment Competitive casual rates Apply Now If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of the Silvaside story, we'd love to hear from you.
